Boston Burgers

This is a really easy crowd-pleaser!
1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 small onion, chopped
1 large can baked beans (20 oz.)
1/4 cup chili sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
hamburger buns or onion rolls
Brown the ground beef; drain. Add onion and cook until tender. Stir in beans, chili sauce, salt, and pepper. Cover & simmer for 20 minutes. Lightly toast buns or rolls. Spoon meat into buns along with cheddar cheese.
