Cheese Fondue (and Dessert Fondue)

This recipe is SO good and very easy!! Great for having friends over. You can serve it with a garden salad with grilled chicken strips, to make a full meal. Here's a quick dessert fondue you can serve at the end of the meal, too.

1 can of cheese soup
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 8-ounce carton of Dean's french onion dip
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
dash of pepper
large loaf of french bread

Blend all of the ingredients (except bread) in a double boiler, stirring frequently. When creamed together, pour out into a fondue pot with sterno heat on low. Cut french bread up into bite-sized cubes to serve with the fondue.

Dessert fondue:
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/2 tsp. mint flavoring, only if desired
Bananas
Strawberries
Pound cake

Melt together ingredients in sauce pan over very low heat, stirring frequently. Pour out into fondue pot with sterno heat on low. Cut bananas into slices; cut pound cake into bite-sized pieces. Serve strawberries, bananas and pound cake on a platter for everyone to enjoy.
